One day, I will have a beach house in Double Bay, with a indoor fireplace for the cozy winter nights, and a fire pit outside for summer nights, bonfire parties and smores.
Isn't the omelette adorably presented? The milk jug has some green juice in it, who doesn't love it when you get a meal that comes with a drink?
Me and Kirby ordered the pulled pork bun. Exceptionally delicious! You can say this is an asian dish and I'm that type of person that don't believe western people can cook an asian dish as good as the asians can. BUT. Oh. My. Goodness. Bar Indigo is something else!!
Bar Indigo is so amazing, that I am willing to overlook the overpriced parking. And that isn't an easy thing for me to do, take my word for it. Like I said the cafe is in Double Bay, a fancier suburb area in NSW, where the houses are huge and beautifully decorated, some with ivy covering the walls, some with grand gates and some overlooking the water. It's a super nice place, where the city centre is filled with boutique shops - clothes that I wish I can afford. The place has been the talk of the town for a while now, and it may not look much but it's better that the outer appearance.
Exploring Double bay has definitely a great different pace from the Sydney city life, and we spent our days imagining our future, where we would meet up for brunch in Double Bay, and catch up on all our great achievements in life. And throw in a few gossips here and there, because brunch is never complete without a few of those. ;)
