Several weeks ago, a bunch of us headed over to Palings Kitchen & Bar located at the first floor of Ivy. I've always wanted to try out this restaurant but only have gotten the chance to. Just
before we reached the restaurant, there are cute little alleyways at the front,
with birdcages and lights hanging between the buildings, making it easy for us to spot our
destination. Too bad, my camera went out of battery just before the food was
delivered to us. Luckily enough, I managed to snap some pictures of the interior
as I walked in the restaurant. It had an open-air beer garden inside the
restaurant, with evening lights all over the place giving a very romantic and enchanting vibe. They serve a pretty good range of food that varies from western to
Thai food.
If you’re looking for a
place to have a group dinner (or lunch, as it opens from midday to late), you
may want to go here, as the place is very spacious, you won't find it
hard to get seats. But it may be different on the weekend though, since I went
there on a Thursday. So make sure you give it a call for a reservation before you
walk in on the weekend.
