The Copper Mill, Alexandria

If there is something that professional bloggers haven't taught us, is how to not be embarrassed when taking pictures of every corner of a restaurant!

(Coddled egg, creamed kumera, fresh parsley, sourdough dippers and a side of crispy bacon)
(Portobello mushies, pearl barley, poached egg, kale, sheep's feta)
(Peruvian B&E roll - pork chicharron, sunnyside egg, roast kumera, salsa criolla & lemon mayo)

We met up for one of our many ritual brunches, this time we decided to try out The Copper Mill in Alexandria, a restaurant on our "to eat list" for quiet some time now. The place was an open space with an open kitchen and high ceilings. The interior was very industrial warehouse, which is always pleasant to take in. I've always adored brick walls and unpainted ceilings used indoors, something so rustic and home about it.

We ordered the coddled egg soldiers, portobello mushies, the peruvian roll and tried out the coconut hot chocolate (something new everyone should try out). The place got crowded really quickly, and there was always someone new walking in, so I suggest to get there early to make sure you'd get a table!
