HAPPY CAMPERS

Camping.   Outside.   Friends.   Marshmallows.

I am so happy that I was able to take a brief break from uni assignments and exam preparations to visit Jervis Bay and appreciate its tranquil beaches over the weekend. While running along one of the softest and whitest sands in the world and dipping my feet in the crystal clear waters, I realised that nowhere in the world does summer quite like Australia.

Booderee National Park is located on New South Wales' south coast in Jervis Bay. The massive stretch of parkland boasts luscious greenery, and beautifully clear blue waters. As this was our last getaway until exams we made sure to make the most of sipping on coconut water, dancing along the beach, fresh fish and chips, roasting marshmallows, kayaking on the pristine waters of Jervis Bay and snorkelling at the coral reef. Just outside our tent are the wallabies digging through our trash looking for food. After spending the previous weeks in lecture rooms, libraries and staying home to desperately finish the last assessment task, this was a fresh breath of nature's air.
